PSPI supports a local equestrian event of international importance!

On August 10 and 12, the Relais et Château Jiva Hill located in France in the commune of Crozet offered its majestic setting to a horse show with a clear ambition. For the second time, PSPI was keen to support this event, an opportunity to showcase its expertise in all aspects of equine insurance… and to combine work and passion!

A look back at these two intense days.

In a postcard setting between Jura and Mont-Blanc, no less than 14 nations have come together for the 2nd edition of an event that is already proving to be a must, such as the very prestigious Palexpo International Horse Show (CHI). And with 8 judges 5* (best judges in the world) among the 30 in the discipline, from all over the world, international nations including the entire Swiss team, and world-renowned headliners, this competition has nothing to be ashamed of from its elder brother! This opinion is widely shared by the hundreds of people who came freely to attend the events, as well as riders who are delighted to be able to compete at the heart of this setting and to share and learn about their profession with an audience composed of both novices and experts.

This year, PSPI supported two of the most important and demanding events, including the “Saint Georges” event, which brings together riders at the highest international level. And with the stakes at the Tryon World Championships in the background and the possibility for the Swiss to take their place, let’s say that the suspense was there! Under a bright sunshine, the Sunday Grand Final confirmed the victory of rider Antonella Joannou and her horse Dandy, on the first place on the podium ahead of the young German Jill de Ridder, 2nd.

For Fanny Eyraud, Founder of PSPI “Being present at a competition such as this one offers us the wonderful opportunity to showcase our expertise in the field of special risks, including everything related to the insurance of professional athletes as well as collections (including race horses). As a true equestrian enthusiast, I was particularly keen to support a sport dictated by rigour and high standards, admirably placed at the service of a breathtaking show! And as a Swiss company operating on a global scale, we fully support the logic of this event, which is geographically local but international in scope. We are  looking forward to the next edition, of which we already guarantee our presence! »
